OneClickRENO supports the transition to a zero-emission building stock by simplifying the renovation planning process through digital building renovation passports (BRPs), introduced as a voluntary digital tool under the revised EPBD, that provide property owners with a clear, long-term roadmap for staged, cost-effective energy upgrades.
The value for property owners
OneClickRENO provides a structured framework for property owners to manage staged deep renovation through data-driven planning. By using automated web tools, owners can generate BRP tailored to their building. The project offers a reliable method for owners to explore renovation options, helping to reduce the uncertainty often associated with deep energy retrofits and assisting in the preservation of long-term property value.
UIPI’s contribution
UIPI ensures that the BRP model developed addresses the specific needs of property owners. We conduct comprehensive European-level analyses understanding how BRPs can best serve the users. UIPI also translates the projects findings into recommendations for policymakers and suggests how to best transpose EU legislation to ensure that the BRP becomes a practical tool for private landlords and homeowners.
