The objective of One Click Reno is to facilitate the transition to a zero-emission building stock by accelerating building renovation efforts throughout the EU. This is achieved by highlighting the visible and tangible benefits of deep renovation using Building Renovation Passports (BRPs), which serve as a tool to stimulate cost-effective renovation. BRPs provide a long-term staged renovation roadmap for specific buildings, assisting owners and investors in planning the timing and scope of interventions. Homeowners will receive automated, easy-to-understand BRPs via simple web tools, based on official schemas, data sources, and user-contributed data, enabling them to explore theoretical renovation itineraries with confidence.
UIPI task is to conduct a European-level analysis to identify barriers to deep renovation, building owners’ needs, and how the Building Renovation Passport can serve as an opportunity to address these challenges. Additionally, UIPI will contribute to the development of policy recommendations at both EU and national levels to overcome experienced barriers and ensure proper transposition of EU regulations and legislation at the national level.
