HOME offers housing providers a structured method to distinguish their properties in the international rental market. Through a self-certification system, owners could obtain quality labels that boost their visibility and credibility, helping them reach a wider audience of mobile students while providing clear, standardised information that reduces misunderstandings during the leasing process.
UIPI’s contribution
UIPI ensures that the labels are workable solutions for housing providers to implement, while simultaneously improving the quality of information available to the student accommodation industry. UIPI alsoruns the foundational research for the project, conducting an in-depth analysis of the minimum legal requirements and average quality standards for student housing, essential for developing quality labels.
