The project introduces a Market Activation Platform that centralises cutting-edge innovations, such as prefabrication and building information modelling (BIM), to make energy-efficient building upgrades faster, cheaper, and more reliable. It also explores the introduction of automated “pop-up” factories aims to bring high-quality, prefabricated renovation components directly to local markets, offering a more efficient and less disruptive alternative to traditional construction methods.

UIPI’s contribution
UIPI ensures that the transition toward industrialised renovation remains aligned with the practical and financial capacities of private property owners and stakeholders across the value chain. We also play a lead role in bridging the gap between technical innovations and the regulatory environment by defining policy recommendations at the EU, national, and local levels.
