On 28 November 2023, UIPI organised the next edition of the UIPI Renovation Tour, dedicated to fostering sustainability and climate action in the Brussels Region. The UIPI Renovation Tour – Brussels edition served as a unique platform bringing together stakeholders with a shared commitment to a sustainable future. By empowering property owners, professionals, and citizens and fostering dialogue with policymakers and key stakeholders, the event aimed to contribute to the achievement of climate goals and the New European Bauhaus vision in this vibrant European capital.
This Renovation Tour delved deep into the region’s unique challenges and opportunities in achieving sustainability and climate goals. The event aimed to:
- Raise Awareness: Emphasise the urgency of climate goals, the progress made, and the emerging challenges specific to the Brussels Region.
- Policy and Practice: Explore EU, national, and regional policies and their tangible impact on local property owners, professionals, and citizens.
- Inclusivity: Encourage the participation of diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, representatives of key organisations, and civil society, to foster a more inclusive and informed discussion.
- Practical Solutions: Showcase tools and support systems available in the market and through the results of EU-funded projects to initiate sustainability improvements in the built environment.
