On 29 September 2026, UIPI will host Condominium Renovation Day 2026, bringing together policymakers, housing professionals, financial institutions, property owners’ representatives and other key stakeholders to discuss one of Europe’s most pressing housing challenges: the renovation of condominiums.
Condominium buildings represent a significant share of Europe’s residential stock, yet their renovation remains particularly complex due to fragmented ownership structures, collective decision-making processes and financial, legal and technical barriers. The event will provide a platform to exchange experiences and explore practical solutions that can help accelerate renovation efforts across Europe.
The programme will feature three thematic discussions covering the legal, technical and financial dimensions of condominium renovation, highlighting successful approaches, innovative financing mechanisms and practical tools to support property owners and property owners’ associations throughout the renovation journey. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with experts and peers from across the European housing sector.
