After few years of COVID related interruption, we are happy to be back with our International Property Day. In the context of the European Year of Youth, our Property Day will focus on “Youth and Property”, exploring the challenges, barriers, opportunities and benefits of being a young property owners. The event, organised in partnership with the Spanish Confederation of Chambers of Urban Property, Confederación de Cámaras de la Propiedad y Asociaciones de Propietarios de Fincas Urbanas de España (CCPU), will be hosted by Urban Property Chamber of Barcelona on 21 October.
The event will first provide a broad overview of young generations’ challenges to access property and to some extent housing both at EU and Spanish and Catalan levels. The following panel discussion will serve to provide practical examples throughout different countries, namely: Spain, France, United Kingdom and Norway. Have a look at the programme to find out more!
The event will be hybrid: presential in Barcelona while streaming would be available for virtual participants who register. To register, please click on the button below.
Focusing on young property owners, as UIPI we are also launching a survey to learn about barriers, challenges, benefits of property ownership for younger generations, and more generally to understand what owning a property means to them. This survey will be officially launched on the day of the event. Stay tuned!
