Boosting Energy Communities in the EU

Housing Europe and The International Union of Property Owners (UIPI) are organising a series of webinars looking at the challenges and opportunities that exist in the EU to develop energy communities, in the scope of the Horizon2020 'NRG2peers' project. The first one will take place next Wednesday, 9 June 2021, at 10:00h CEST.
Overview
The event will provide local and national energy community stakeholders the opportunity to hear directly from EU policymakers and European experts on the development of energy communities legislation – especially the planned changes to ‘Renewable Energy Directive’, which are due to be unveiled later this year. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with the speakers, to express their views on the future development of energy communities in the EU.
