Comparative analyses

UIPI is conducting comparative analyses on national policies and regulations relevant to landlords and owner-occupiers. These analyses are based on practitioners’ expertise, rather than academic research. Their objective is to foster the exchange of information and best practices among the member associations of UIPI, but also to contribute to larger political debates at national and European level.

UIPI recent analyses focused on:

  • Comparison of national legislation relevant to the private rented sector,
  • Comparison of national taxation related to property. Find out more here.

Expertise and information dissemination on research projects

UIPI believes in the need to conduct research to identify innovative technical solutions for buildings and to better understand the real estate and building sectors.

Therefore, we are willing to contribute to EU projects in which we can provide technical, legal, economic and sociological inputs to help these projects to better assess the needs and constraints of our sector. Additionally, we consider that our members can benefit from the knowledge that can be gained from these initiatives.
